Multi-Generation Voyage

Family Yacht Charter in Raja Ampat

A safety-first phinisi for multi-generation groups — gentle reefs, kayaks, child-friendly cabins, and a crew who knows how to host kids.

Folio I · In Brief

A family yacht charter is designed around the youngest and oldest people on board. The route favours sheltered anchorages over open-water crossings, the snorkel sites are shallow reef tops, and the cabins are configured for parents-with-kids and grandparents.

A Crew That Hosts Families Well

Our family-charter captains and chefs have hosted dozens of multi-generation groups over the years. They know to plate a kid-friendly menu alongside the adult tasting menu, to keep snorkel briefings short and concrete for younger swimmers, and to schedule downtime when the youngest crew member needs a nap.

Activities for Every Age

Snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding in sheltered lagoons. Karst-island hikes with optional shorter loops for grandparents. A glass-bottom kayak for nervous swimmers. Marine biology “treasure hunts” for kids led by Rendi, our marine biologist. A dedicated dinghy crew always on standby.

Recommended Family Yachts

Magia II (38m sailing catamaran) is consistently our top family recommendation: stable, shallow-draft, with one master cabin and four twin/double cabins that flex between adults and children. For larger families (12+), Lamima or Prana by Atzaró offer multiple connecting cabins and dedicated kids’ spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

— I

What is the minimum age for a family charter?

There is no formal minimum, but we typically recommend 5+ for water comfort and longer-duration trips. Younger children are absolutely welcome — we adjust the route to short sailing legs and sheltered anchorages.
— II

Are life jackets and child snorkel gear available?

Yes — child-sized snorkel masks, fins, and Coast Guard-approved life jackets are stocked on every yacht. Stand-up paddleboards and kayaks have child-friendly options.
— III

Can we get a kids menu?

Absolutely. We provide menu planning forms before the charter and adapt for allergies, picky eaters, and cultural preferences (halal, kosher, vegan, etc.).
